Selina Flavius
Biography
Selina Flavius created Black Girl Finance, a financial coaching company dedicated to UK Black women and girls. She has also contributed to discussions within the UK media – The Guardian, Diversity Q, BBC Woman’s Hour and the WOW festival – to highlight the issues of the gender, ethnicity and racial wealth gaps.
Selina believes that due to the intersection of the above gaps, it’s more important than ever for Black women to take charge of their personal finances. She also hosts the weekly Black Girl Finance Podcast and has written one of the first Personal Finance books by a Black UK Author. Her book, Black Girl Finance, Let’s Talk Money is out now.
She is also the Founder of the Black Girl Finance Festival and will be represented for her second book by Susan Yearwood Agency.
